Language is like a costume where you can wrap yourself in a fabric of safety, but what happens when the costume falls off? What's left of one self? Words are born out of silence, just as light can't exist without darkness. Silent Rain wants to enter the empty rooms in us. Investigate what happens when you are deprived of something.

I had the privilege of growing up in a multi-cultured family, and realized how diffrent I felt depending on what language I was speaking. At times, I just felt lost in this sea of words. That’s how the idea of this project was born. To investigate the role of language. To not just simply look at it as an interweaving of words, but rather as something more profound and complicated.
